Vitality Stack Packaging
Originally lunched in the fall of 2017, the Vitality Stack was marketed as “a nutrigemonic starter kit that can help anyone build the foundation for a healthy life and start their biohacking journey.” The “stack” contained contained 4 products: LifeVantage’s flagship product Protandim NRF2 Synergizer, Protandim NRF1 Synergizer, the LifeVantage Probiotic, and their Omega product. The products came in an easy to take with you single serving packet.

The Challenge
After a few years, the original Vitality Stack packaging began to show some flaws. In the original design, the packaging was a shallow box with an attached lid, the user would need to open the lid each time they wanted to partake of the product. While not horrible, this design caused the user a few pain points. 2 of the bigger complaints were that:
The box took up a lot of shelf space. It was wider than most things in a standard“pill cabinet”.
As the user had to lift the lid to access the packets, it took up even more space as the user could not place anything on top of the box.
Working with the team at LifeVantage, we reviewed the complaints & researched the customer’s experience and pain points.

The new packaging delivered an improved experience for the customer.
With a design that was built with intention, it took up less space and was easily accessible no matter how you placed it in your cupboard. Thanks to this update complaints around the sizing and the space issues of the product disappeared overnight. And even more importantly, with the company addressing their issues, the brand was able to improve and renew the trust of their customers.
